Check mixed page sizes

Merging combines pages; it does not automatically make different source sizes identical. Use Resize if the job requires uniform pages.

Think in fronts and backs

A deliberate blank can keep a new section on a front page. Check the final sequence after every insertion.

Can I include only a few pages from a file?

Yes. Build segments with the page ranges you need, and arrange those segments in the final order.

Can I insert a blank page?

Yes. Blank segments let you add space for a section break or a duplex front/back requirement.

Are the source files resized?

No. Merge assembles the supplied pages. Review different sizes and orientations before choosing the next layout tool.

Can each file become a bookmark?

The Bookmark each file option is available for a plain whole-file merge. More detailed page assembly uses the segment sequence instead.
