JFPI (Japan Federation of Printing Industries): Guide + Imposition Tools for Japanese Print Shops

The JFPI (Japan Federation of Printing Industries, 日本印刷産業連合会) is Japan’s national umbrella organisation for the printing industry. Founded in 1985, it marked its 40th anniversary in 2025 and acts as the coordinating voice for a sector of more than 28,000 companies and over 312,000 employees.

Rather than enrolling individual companies directly, the JFPI is a federation of 10 member associations that together represent roughly 8,500 member companies across printing and related fields. The federation coordinates industry-wide activity that individual associations could not run alone:
